Terms of Use for Padly

Last updated: 19 October 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Padly mobile app and the Padly Helper desktop application (together, "Padly"), published by Bitaura Technologies ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using Padly, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Padly.

1. What Padly does

Padly lets you use your phone as a wireless trackpad, keyboard, and remote to control your own PC over Wi‑Fi (via the Padly Helper) and your own TV or console over Bluetooth.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable license to use Padly for its intended purpose on devices you own or control. You may not copy, modify, reverse‑engineer, resell, or redistribute Padly except as allowed by law.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use Padly only to control devices you own or have permission to control, and only in a lawful manner. You are responsible for all actions you perform on connected devices through Padly. Do not use Padly to gain unauthorized access to any device, system, or network.

4. The Padly Helper

The Padly Helper runs on your PC so your phone can connect to it over your local network. You are responsible for running it on a trusted computer and network. Because the Helper may be distributed without a code‑signing certificate, your operating system may show a security warning; choosing to run it is at your discretion and risk.

5. Connectivity and compatibility

Padly depends on your local Wi‑Fi network (for PC control) and on Bluetooth support in the target device (for TV/console control). We do not guarantee that Padly will work with every PC, TV, console, or set‑top box. Some devices — for example certain set‑top boxes — may not accept a phone as a Bluetooth input device due to platform limitations outside our control.

6. No warranty

Padly is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, reliability, or uninterrupted operation. You use Padly at your own risk.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bitaura Technologies will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, device malfunction, or other harm arising from your use of or inability to use Padly.

8. Privacy

Your use of Padly is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains that Padly does not require an account and communicates directly between your own devices.

9. Updates and changes

We may update Padly and these Terms from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date when we change these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Termination

You may stop using Padly at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or discontinue Padly, in whole or in part, at any time.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Bitaura Technologies has its principal place of business, without regard to conflict‑of‑law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Padly will be subject to the courts of that jurisdiction.
